Golden Promise Malt – Thomas Fawcett
Golden Promise Malt. A traditional variety of barley typically grown in Scotland. This is a base malt that is a must for authentic Scottish ales. This Scottish equivalent of Maris Otter is kilned slightly darker than pilsner malts or standard 2 row brewer’s malts, with a slightly bready flavour. Golden Promise produces a slightly sweet, mellow wort with a clean flavour.
