Description
Cryo Mosaic Hops (Cryo Hopsยฎ)
Cryo Mosaic Hops are made using the proprietary YCH cryogenic process, which separates the lupulin glands from the hop flower at extremely low temperatures. The result is a concentrated pellet with roughly double the alpha acid and oil content of standard Mosaic T-90 pellets, with significantly less vegetative material. This means more hop flavour and aroma with less grassy, astringent character – especially useful in heavily hopped styles where reducing trub is important.
Cryo Mosaic delivers an amplified version of the classic Mosaic profile: bold tropical fruit, berry, and stone fruit character with herbal and earthy undertones. Use at a rate of roughly half the weight you would use for standard Mosaic pellets.
Typical brewing styles: NEIPAs, Double/Imperial IPAs, IPAs, Pale Ales, American Wheat
