Description
Cryo Citra Hops (Cryo Hopsยฎ)
Cryo Citra Hops are made using the proprietary YCH cryogenic process, which separates the lupulin glands from the hop flower at extremely low temperatures. The result is a concentrated pellet with roughly double the alpha acid and oil content of standard Citra T-90 pellets, with significantly less vegetative material. This means more hop flavour and aroma with less grassy, astringent character – especially useful in heavily hopped styles where reducing trub is important.
Cryo Citra delivers an intensified version of the classic Citra profile: explosive tropical fruit, citrus, and stone fruit character. Use at a rate of roughly half the weight you would use for standard Citra pellets.
Typical brewing styles: NEIPAs, Double/Imperial IPAs, IPAs, American Pale Ales, Hop-Forward Lagers
