Columbus Hops
Columbus is a dual purpose hop. It is great for bittering and can also be used as an aroma hop. Used for it’s outstanding oil profile and perfect for dry hopping. Columbus is sometimes referred as CTZ (Columbus, Tomahawk, Zeus).
Columbus has a herbal flavour with lemon citrus back notes. This hop features a punchy hoppiness with understated notes of citrus. Commonly used as a late addition hop.
Typical brewing styles: American Ales, Barley Wine, Imperial Brown Ale, Imperial Stout, Stout
