Saphir hops, released in 2002 by the Hop Research Center in Hüll, Germany, is a modern aroma hop with noble characteristics. This hop is celebrated for its refined balance of citrus and spice, making it well suited for traditional German and Belgian beer styles.

Aroma & Flavor Profile
Sweet citrus, tangerine, orange zest, spicy, floral, herbal. Notes of tangerine, orange zest, and sweet citrus on the palate, along with pleasant spicy and herbal undertones.
Beer Styles
Pilsner, German Lager, Belgian Ale, Wheat Beer, Kölsch. Saphir is well suited for single-hopped beers with its excellent aromatic qualities. Perfect for late additions and dry-hopping.
